Description
During your project with Volunteers Centre Skopje (Macedonia), you'll actively contribute to the creation of VOICES magazine and the VOICES to Hear podcast. You will be researching topics, writing articles, conducting interviews, coordinating translators, designing the magazine, managing its social media and making podcasts, as well as organizing different events for the local youth (movie nights, quizzes, cultural nigths...). VCS also writes and implements multiple projects every year : local and international projects, volunteering projects... You'll be a part of the implementation of these projects! Maybe you have ideas for new activities or projects ? We always have free space to brainstorm and work together on new things as well. Our multicultural team of staff and volunteers create a strong team which creates a perfect place of team work! For this project, Volunteer Centre Skopje is the hosting organization and Solidarités Jeunesses (France) is the sending organization.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteer will be supported by the staff of the hosting organisation (Volunteer Centre Skopje) as well as the sending organisation (Solidarités Jeunesses). The volunteer will be accomodated in an appartement, in a single or shared room. Volunteers will receive pocket money every month and money for cover their food costs. The roundtrip travel from France to Macedonia will be reimbursed up to 275 euros (320 euros in case of green travel)
Profil du participant
Young person from France between 18 and 30 years old. The working language on the project is English. Motivation to learn Macedonian is required. The candidate should be proactive, communicative and motivated to take part in the project!
