LONG TERM VOLUNTEERING IN MATERNITY CENTER, YOUTH CENTER AND KINDERGARTEN

Description
Project objectives: • involving young people into a meaningful voluntary work • providing to volunteers opportunities for personal growth and competencies development • encouraging creative expression and intercultural dialogue within local community • sharing the ESC mission among local youth (school presentations for students) • ACTIVITIES IN MATERNITY CENTER: morning and afternoon educational and leisure activities for kids / with parents (arts & crafts, languages, Montessori, etc.) • babysitting • ACTIVITIES IN YOUTH CENTER: Non-formal leisure & educational activities for youngsters aged 13 – 30 • support the communication via social media, blog posts and other PR activities across the organization • develop new ideas in order to involve the local community, participate on events of the YCR • ACTIVITIES IN KINDERGARTEN: various educational programs such as teaching English by play, intuitive creativity - arts & crafts, assisting the teacher with a daily learning schedule
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
• ACCOMODATION: fully equipped apartment in the city - 10 minutes walk from the organization, separate room for each volunteer, shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet, Wi-Fi • TRANSPORT: around the city on foot or by public transport, free bicycle and kick scooter rental (not electric), frequent connections to other cities (bus, train) • FOOD: volunteers prepare their own meals, money for food is covered by the project • COMMUNICATION: free Wi-Fi in all places, possibility of providing a laptop and a mobile phone with CZ SIM card
Formation pendant l’activité
• Czech lessons with a lecturer once a week, Online Linguistic Support (entry and final exam) • On-arrival and the Mid-term training and evaluation by the Czech National Agency • administrative, health and safety procedures and inner regulations • individual learning plan including personal aims and objectives (set with coordinator) • Youthpass Certificate • opportunity to attend educational and leisure activities within the organisation (language courses, arts, sports...)
Profil du participant
• open minded, eager to work, interested in leisure activities and workshop preparation • active, flexible, creative, responsible attitude • good communication skills, open to teamwork and collaboration, English at a communicative level • young people who are looking for a change / developement in their lives, ready for new experiences • no marks of substance abuse or criminal history • motivation to work with youngsters and be able to motivate the others or motivation to work with children, positive approach to children (previous experiences are not necessary)
