Join our team as a European volunteer! If you want to get involved in the social field with young people, ESC is the right place for you! The Fockengrund Youth Club is an AWO facility and has been a meeting place for numerous young people from Grambke in Burglesum for over 40 years. The visitors of the facility are predominantly young people from the neighbourhood with and without a migrant background. The goals of our work are mainly socialisation and integration tasks, support in personality development and life orientation. Furthermore, we provide help in building up life perspectives through educational and recreational measures as well as counselling and discussions. Open door work is an integral part of our services. The work takes place in the afternoons and evenings.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will have your own room in a shared flat with other ESC volunteers in a lively quarter in the Western Part of Bremen. Shops, tram stations, the city centre, restaurants and parks are in walking distance and very nearby. ──── You will receive 510,00 € per month (pocket money + food expenses) ──── You will get a ticket for local transportation ──── You will meet other volunteers and work in a great team
Training during the activity
You will have a language course.
