Description
Schulgarten Telfs, a private school at Telfs, Austria, will be hosting TWO VOLUNTEERS in 2024/2025. One will be active in the “Primaria 1” (with 6 to 9 year olds) and the other person in “Sekundaria” (with 12 to 15 year olds). The school hosts 74 children in total, aged between 6 and 15. Each one of them is treated like an intelligent, emotional and mature human being and is coached on personal possibilities, abilities and interests by our pedagogic team of 12 teachers. We work actively, nature based, without stress and in the perspective of the child. The Montessori-Approach is our main focus where all our projects are related to.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
- Schulgarten is located in Telfs, a small town of 15.000 inhabitants - Fully equipped flat which you will share with other volunteers; a private room is provided, kitchen, bathroom and living room are shared as well. - The way to work can be done by walk - A ticket for public transport and money for groceries are provided (also 7 Euros daily as pocket money) - It takes 40 to 50 minutes to Innsbruck in Tyrol by train
Formation pendant l’activité
You will be engaged in a variety of tasks and activities. - Active participation during the daily routines of our school day - Accompanying the children on excursions like museums, cultural events, etc. - Arranging a motivating learning environment - Taking part of our weekly team meeting, also with your tutor - Attending our parent teacher conference evenings, held six times a year - Creating and implementing a personal project with professional support
Profil du participant
- Between 18 to 30 years old - Focused on the volunteering program (no studies or work responsibilities besides) - Interested in learning more about another culture and different backgrounds - Interested in actively participation on our project and learning lessons - Interested in the target group of children - Motivated to learn the German language (a German course will be provided) - Committed to volunteer for 10,5 months including 35 hours working week Please send you complete application to: Mrs. Widauer, mail: familie@widauer.at
