Description
Musica Impulse Centre is an organisation with a national as well as an international scope. Musica inspires a conscious and adventurous approach to sound and music. Musica's starting point is the conviction that everyone is musical. An active, artistic experience of music is for everyone. We create accessible environments around music and sound, for enthusiasts and professionals alike, from the very young to the very old, where they can (re)discover their own musicality and listen with new ears. Your tasks as a volunteer depend very much on your background. In general you can expect to help with the many tasks in the daily operation of the organization. It’s a diverse package with an emphasis on production in a broad sense. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
- A studio in Neerpelt, 10 min. walking distance from the Musica offices, (with a well equipped kitchen, 2p bed, private bathroom, television set. Laundry machine & dryer are available at the Musica offices). Rental of this studio and the related expenses are covered by the organisations (AFS/Musica). - A monthly budget of 200€ for food during your stay + 5€ pocket money per day. - Reimbursement of 1 return flight from your home to the Musica offices. - A bicycle. - A workplace in a rural and green environment and an attractive village centre with various facilities
Formation pendant l’activité
- On Arrival & Mid Term training provided by the local National Agency - A creative job with a lot of variety. - Pleasant colleagues. - Projects all over Flanders. - A job in which you meet a lot of people, and work with many artists and organisations. - Flexibility in terms of work schedule. - Possibility to learn the Dutch language on the work floor, combined with a language course. Upon agreement of the organisation, the enrollment fee of the language course might be reimbursed.
Profil du participant
- You are interested in culture, art and music - You are enthusiastic and have a hands-on mentality. - Ability to work with children - You have organisational skills, work efficiently and are result-driven - You have technical insight and some knowledge of technical material (audio/video) - You have a positive mentality and a good sense for humor - You are a team player but can also take independent initiative where necessary - You are stress resistant and able to deal with unexpected situations - You are proactive and look for solutions when something is going wrong or needs extra attention - You are social and empathetic. - You are prepared to work flexibly and to do occasional evening and weekend work. - You have a driving license (type B) - You are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken
