Description
This mission is carried out by Concordia in partnership with Anne Frank middle school and Du Moulin middle school, both located in Grande-Synthe. They are working together to sensitise students to be more active and responsible towards the environment. Your main tasks may include: Organising sportive activities during playtime with the students; Create environmental awareness activities linked to food (vegetable gardening, local produce, waste management, etc…) Promotion of your culture (language workshops activities, international week, Your work will be integrated into the educational team including the catering with whom you will be able to develop better environmental practices.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteers will share a 70 square metres apartment within the Anne Frank middle school furnished with second-hand furniture. The flat contains a living room, a kitchen. 2 individual bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a toilet. The volunteers will receive a food allowance during the first week of the month of 9 euros per day for the food and 8 euros per day for the pocket money. Free buses will be used to move around the city.

In addition to these missions, the volunteers will attend language courses and will be able to dedicate time to personal projects.
Profil du participant
We are looking for one person who is motivated by the themes of the mission, ready to work in a team, and able to take initiatives and develop personal projects during the missions. The volunteer must also be able to interact with a group of young people and to express an idea in front of an audience. As the volunteer will be working with children, a clean police report will also be required.
