Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, migrants' rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Bolivia! You will learn about the communication processes of a social organization in the field and about feminist leadership, you will write press articles, monitor social networks, support project activities trough social media to ensure their proper visibility, coordinate the design of audiovisual and printed materials… You will also be part of the implementation of the organization's communication strategy. You will discover how communication can improve social transformation, and how it works with indigenous people, women, youth and other vulnerable populations in Bolivia. FLUENT SPANISH IS MANDATORY.
Alojamiento, manutención y transporte
You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located close to the office. You will receive a monthly allowance for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner).
Formación durante la actividad
You will support the team's communicator in the communication activities of the projects, especially in the review of communication products, preparation of communication notes, follow-up of communication campaigns, development of actions to position the institutional image, coordination with external consultants, as well as in the management of social media. You will learn about communication campaigns focused on social transformation, working with creative teams.
Perfil del participante
The following skills will be positively valued: good writing skills, sensitivity and facility to apply a gender perspective, ability to work in teams and to adapt to the country's context, as well as to different work environments. Also, a good command of Microsoft office, and design and audiovisual production programs, as well as of social media, will also be a plus. Fluid spanish is mandatory. A good command of English will be highly valued. Previous work experience is not necessary.
