Description

We are looking for one more person ready to join our team of volunteers in the IB Polska office. If you are creative and like to work in the team, create social media content, meet people of different age and background, run workshops for children and seniors, participate in different events to promote European Solidarity Corps programme and the idea of volunteering, this project is for you. Working hours are usually 9:00 a.m. till 3 p.m., but that depends also on the tasks and place that you will choose in our project. Sometimes we work also on the weekends, but then volunteers have a free day/days. Volunteers from the office will help ESC coordinators to organise meetings and workshops for volunteers, to help with project documentation. We usually built the schedule together with the volunteer in the first days after the arrival and the meeting with the whole team of volunteers from our office. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer will stay in the flat rent by IB Polska. Flats are with single or double rooms with common kitchen and bathroom. IB Polska provides monthly card for the public transport in Krakow. We reimburse the travel costs up to the amount based on the distance calculator. EU volunteers have to bring European Health Insurance Card with them, volunteers outside the EU are insured in Henner. Volunteers get pocket money and food allowance every month, usually to the bank account.

Training during the activity

Volunteer has to be prepared to the project by the sending organisation from the country of origin. Hosting organisation organizes introduction for all volunteers after arrival to Krakow with the ESC rules and goals, communication, tasks, planns for the next weeks. There are 2 obligatory trainings during the project provided by the Polish National Agency,

Participant profile

We are looking for responsible, open-minded and creative person ready to work in the international team and learn new things. This person has to be flexible, because sometimes our plans are changing in reaction to the current situation in the project and group dynamics. Communicative English is helpful here.
