Description
Knowing to speak Spanish is an essential requirement in this project. Volunteers will do community service in several organizations for 8 months. We want two volunteers who enjoy with our oldest students in their community work. Mainly, the two volunteers will take part in the morning’s activities of an organization that works with migrants, with people with disabilities and in our school. Two days a week, they will be part of a retirement home and will help during the memory activities with games, doing crafts, rehabilitation, among others. In the school, during the weekends volunteers will be part of the free time groups of the school which includes kids from 8 to 11 years old. Sundays and Mondays are free for volunteers to rest, go sightseeing and visit the city.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The two volunteers will use the school installations and will live with migrant people where there are two rooms destinated to the CES volunteers. The school is quite big, we have 1.600 students and lot of people working in there. It’s a Christian organization and one of the parts of the school building is intended for religious people who are living there. Bilbao is a student city, adapted to move by bike to everywhere. The centre of the city is only 10 minutes walking from the school.

We are looking for people who are passionate about social work and helping others. People interested in learning other cultures and improve Spanish.
