We are looking for 3-4 long-term volunteers for 1.1.- 30.6.2026 for different youth centers. The tasks of the volunteers include implementation of activities at the youth centers after school time, mainly in the evenings and Saturdays, always with professional youthworker. The aim is to encourage youth participation and empowerment, doing things together. Activities with young people include conversations, playing games, cooking, arts and crafts, sports, camps etc.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will be accommodated in a shared apartment. They will receive food money in the form of food cards to buy groceries and cook food for themselves. They will also be provided with a travel card for public transport.
Profil du participant
The most important aspect of being a volunteer is having a positive and open attitude towards learning new things. We require initiative and activity at work as well as basic skills of working life. Working with young people provides you with a constantly changing environment where no day is alike. We are looking for volunteers with conversational communication skills in English. We appreciate some experience of working or volunteering with young people aged 9 to 18. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of different genders, as well as people belonging to linguistic, cultural and other minorities.
