Description
By leaving your confort zone and joining our project, you can improve your french, your EU citizenship, discover a new culture and enjoy volunteering with a multicultural young team. The main tasks of the volunteers will be : - to prepare and give presentations about their country, European mobility and the EU to different groups (pupils, students, adults, young people with fewer opportunities, etc.), to speak about their own experience and culture - to welcome the general public at the office and during fairs and forums - to promote the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ to the youth of the region - to create educational tools (e.g.games and posters) and new concepts for presentations - to help the team in the organisation of events (debates, Europe Day, European day of languages…) - to create cultural events with MUSIC, CIRCUS ARTS & GAMES, ACROBATICS, DANCES, - to raise awareness, especially among young people, about european and environmental issues
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteers will stay in a small student residence, where they will have their own room. The Residence is located in the heart of the City Center of Amiens, at 3 minutes on foot far from the office. A Bike will be offered to each volunteer The volunteers will get 14€/day for food and pocket money.
Formation pendant l’activité
During their stay, the volunteers will take part in 2 seminars organised by the French National Agency. One on arrival and the other mid-stay. These seminars are mandatory for the volunteers who spend more than 6 months in our project. They will take place during a week, in south of France or in Paris
Profil du participant
We are looking for highly-motivated volunteers from EU countries ready to commit ideally for a 4 months period but applications for shorter periods will also be considered. They will join a multicultural team of volunteers from all over the European Union.
