TO APPLY PLEASE SEND A CV AND MOTIVATION LETTER TO : clemence.delvaux@international-jtm.com The Lycée Hôtelier de Dinard is a public vocational education and training school, specialising in thehotel and catering industry. Our school welcomes around 700 students every year, accompanied by around 122staff members. Courses range from vocational diplomas (CAP) to professional bachelor's degrees. Volunteer's missions : run workshops on European values- offer workshops to discover the gastronomy of your country- present mobility programmes in the classroom- run language workshops with students- share culture, differences with France and strategies for overcoming them - with students to prepare themfor their mobility (internships abroad)- help students with documentary research, writing a CV. - help with the Cinema Club (selection of international films, discussions with students) - accompany visits to the British Film Festival and discuss topics with students

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will live in a shared flat onsite, only a couple of minutes away from the main buildings. He orshe will have a room and share bath, kitchen and living room with others. This flat is dedicated to younginternationals, mostly language assistants. Pocket money will be provided, plus money for covering the food expenses. In addition, the volunteer will beable to eat in the cafeteria at lunchtime on weekdays.The international travel expenses will be reimbursedon the basis defined by the European Commission. Regarding transport arrangement a monthly bus transportcard will be provided.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will take part in an on-arrival training and mi-term evaluation organised by the French National Agency. In addition, the volunteer will take part in the Breton seminar and the volunteer appreciation day.Dinard is an attractive tourist city, and the volunteer will be in contact with other youth associations inthe city.

Participant profile

No special prerequisites or skills are required for the volunteer We want to focus on the wishes andinterests of the volunteer to enable him/her to develop new skills during his/her volunteering. We willevaluate the meaning of this European mobility experience in connection with the youth’s life (social andprofessional) project. We would like to recruit a volunteer who has an open mind, is attentive and dynamicand has an interest in animation and social intervention. Basic in french would be a plus.
