Description
PROJECT OBJECTIVE: This project aims to actively involve volunteers in managing intercultural activities on both national and international levels. Through this experience, volunteers will gain a deeper understanding of voluntary service and intercultural learning within an international context. They will also be exposed to the behind-the-scenes work of preparing, organizing, and evaluating related actions. Volunteers will contribute to the international volunteering and youth mobility sector by supporting workcamp activities and managing non-formal education projects. More specifically, the project seeks to: 1 Promote intercultural learning and mutual understanding 2 Promote peace and related values 3 Combat all forms of discrimination, including those based on 4 culture, language, religion, country of origin, gender, economic 5 status, or physical characteristics 6 Encourage interaction and exchange among young people from 7 different countries and backgrounds
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Pocket Money: Volunteers will receive a daily pocket allowance of €6.00 for each day of the project, amounting to €180.00 per month. Food and Accommodation: The project will cover food and accommodation costs with a monthly allowance of €720.00. Participants will receive this amount directly each month and will be responsible for finding their own suitable accommodation in Rome. The association will be available to assist volunteers if needed. Working Hours: 35 hours per week. Insurance: Volunteers are covered by the HENNER insurance system for the European Solidarity Corps (ESC).
Training during the activity
1 on arrival training and mid term evaluation organize by the NA 2 on process training on daily work NOTE: Selection period: Only pre-selected candidates will be contacted for an online interview, which will be held between 17–20/11/2025
Participant profile
Strong motivation for youth voluntary projects Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) Basic knowledge of Italian Preferably some knowledge of international voluntary service projects (workcamps, mid- and long-term volunteering) ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (POSITIVELY VALUED): Participation in a workcamp or other international youth projects (youth exchanges, training) Knowledge of Italian Experience in back-office work Interest in communication and social media
