ASSOCIATION ISSAAF JERADA - SOLIDARITE ET DEVELOPPEMENT
Jerada, Maroc
Description
Isaaf Jerada Solidarity and Development is a true "driving force" of the associative dynamic in the province of Jerada, which works for the public interest and supports less-resourced NGOs. The volunteer with Isaaf Jerada will contribute to social projects with a significant impact on vulnerable children, particularly through a partnership with the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration, and Family. Tasks will include organizing daily activities such as educational workshops (art, IT, music), improving language and academic skills, and raising awareness about child protection. The volunteer will also develop tools for individual and group support, participate in project management, and assist with evaluations through report writing and project tracking. The workweek is Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend activities. The volunteer will collaborate with a small, dedicated team of four, working directly with the children and the local community.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The mission is based in Jerada, a former mining town in northeastern Morocco with 50,000 residents. The volunteer will have access to a fully equipped office with internet and a professional address. Recreational facilities such as a gym, outdoor sports area, and a summer pool are available in Jerada. A furnished, secure, and insured apartment will be provided near the office, with electricity, water, and gas included. The mission covers travel to the location, accommodation (rent, insurance, utilities), monthly allowance and language courses.
