OCC Greece works towards the reception and integration of Refugees & Asylum Seekers, next to a refugee camp. The organization is based in the small town of Polikastro and we are currently looking for 5 motivated, long-term volunteers for the following positions: 1. Language Courses -supporting in the implementation of language courses -assist in the creation of learning envirroments 2. Children’s learning facilitator -Assist with coordinating OCC children classes. -Support short-term volunteers in the delivery of classes 3. Bike Space -Supporting our bike rental service technically and administratively 4. Women Space & Communciations -Organising activities in the Women Space -Managing the social media accounts, produce communciational material using digital equipment, etc. 5. Administrational support (Monitoring and Evaluation) --> Using the professional tools of OCC to support and monitor the overall activities.

The present project provides the participants with the following benefits: A) Free shared accommodation, fully equipped B) Health insurance (Henner) C) Monthly allowance of 330 euros D) Travel expenses up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator E) Free language courses (online or physical if there's availability)
Formación durante la actividad
Participants in this project will have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge of contemporary social and economic challenges through cooperation with disadvantaged social groups, while simultaneously advancing their professional skills and overall competencies. Additionally, socializing in a multicultural environment promotes the EU ideals of solidarity and tolerance, adding an element of fun to the experience. Participants will also attend courses on topics such as: Safeguarding, Asylum Procedures in Greece, Adult Education, Intercultural Education, and Psychological First Aid.
Perfil del participante
We are looking for GREEK & EU volunteers with the following profile: -Sufficient communication level of English. -ESC age standards (preferably 23-30 years old). -Being motivated, open-minded, creative, and self-reliant in a multicultural environment. -Comfortable with sharing an apartment/bedroom with other volunteers. -Relevant experience for each position is appreciated. -Knowledge of Greek/Arabic/Farsi, is appreciated.
