CPMGA is an institution that has been working for 40 years in the city of El Alto. Our mission is to reach a more inclusive Bolivia in which women and men live in equity and equality. Our work seeks to return to the territory, fight for women’s rights, democracy within a non-hegemonic feminist perspective and action, leaning towards joint construction and broad openness to women’s dialogues. Our work is centered in 4 strategic lines: life free of violence, economic autonomy, women demand their rights and sexual and reproductive rights, in each of those we work with different groups of women who are given access to digital tools for their tasks, including awareness-raising activities and advocacy through social networks. For that we require training in the use of digital tools for entrepreneurs and training in computer security for all and technical support for radio and the CPMGA team.
Alojamiento, manutención y transporte
For security reasons and to guarantee access to transportation, food, health and other services, markets and supermarkets, it has been determined that the accommodation will be located in a safe central area of the city of La Paz, either in Sopocachi or Miraflores. Transport from these areas to the CPMGA offices takes 1 hour by minibus (public transport) or by cable car. Food can be provided in either restaurants or the volunteer will have access to markets and supermarkets to prepare their own food.
Formación durante la actividad
- During the volunteering period, you will receive training in the application of the gender approach to different populations. - You will be guided in the development of training for adult and young women in the cities of El Alto and Viacha. - You will learn the use of ludic tools for accompaniment.
Perfil del participante
Professional in administrative and/or financial areas (marketing, advertising, business development, etc.) with an interest in working with women's enterprises or micro and small businesses, knowledge of business management for MSEs, willing to incorporate an environmental approach and with knowledge of English. ACTIVITIES - Identification of needs for technical assistance and business advice for enterprises. - Development of workshops for the developement of business ideas and creation of business models. - Elaboration of Incubation Plans for entrepreneurships. - Follow-up and accompaniment of ventures according to the tools developed in the CPMGA. - Updating of follow-up information and/or monitoring of ventures. - Development of basic English language sessions for tourism-related ventures. - Support in the development of entrepreneurship workshops and training courses in rights and business management with the application of tools developed by the CPMGA.
