Description
Main project idea: Our project suggesting the perfect possibility to learn, to implement ideas, to use creativity and to get confidence. The uniqueness of the project is that young people from diferent European Union countries come together with the most vulnerable group -young people with mental disabilities. The most important thing is European solidarity, teaching and learning of common professional development moments. Volunteers at organisation will work together with mentally disabled youth. They will support and help young people who have special needs. Volunteers will also benefit greatly from these activities. You will gain a wealth of useful knowledge for shaping your future. They will find the right profession for themselves, gain some professional knowledge, learn more about the labor market in other countries, learn how to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and share their experience after the project in their own country.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
We will take care of your accommodation. Your volunteering place – Kranto 16, LT-35173, Panevezys, Lithuania. You will get ticket of city bus for every month. Flat wear you will stay have 3-4 rooms. You will be 3 volunteers in one flat and you will have self rooms. Just need share kitchen, toilet and bathroom. You will get: Pocket money – 155 euro every month. Food money every month (about 150 euro) Day lunch in organisation for free Monthly bus tickets valid for all busses in Panevezys town.
Formation pendant l’activité
You will get: On arraival training (organaising by national agency). Obligatory! Mid - term training (organaising by national agency). Obligatory! Lithuanian language lessons in organisation. Cultural lessons in organisation. Training about disability (in organisation).
Profil du participant
Motivated work with intelectual disable youth in day care centre and social workchop. You must have an excellent reputation and a certificate proving that you are allowed to work with vulnerable groups (people with disabilities), including children.
