Description
As a member of our « EuroVINCI » team, you will improve your French, discover our culture, nurture your citizenship and develop lots of skills including team-work and social such major skills when entering the labour market. Open-mindedness, adaptability and sustainability will be at the core of the proposed tasks: you will testify of your own experience and interact with students, teaching staff and other members of the school community in the framework of varied activities, adapted to your background and wishes. You will help us to implement and coordinate these activities, including the organisation of highlights (eg. incoming and outgoing mobilities) and exchanges with our numerous partners. And you will of course promote the ESC & the entire Erasmus+ program at school but also in the framework of our strong partnership with our reliable partner EUROPE DIRECT Hauts de France. You will progressively become a soursource of ideas... and maybe a source of inspiration for our students.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteers will stay at the school dormitory with their own room, a bathroom and an access to a small kitchen, very useful during the week ends or holidays, when the school canteen is closed. Volunteers will get 8€/day for pocket money. Food will be provided on working days and volunteers will get money on days off. A local-bus pass and a regional-train pass will also be provided to the volunteers. Finally a bicycle can be loaned to the volunteers during their stay in our school.
Training during the activity
During their stay, the volunteers will take part in 2 seminars organised by the French National Agency. One on arrival and the other mid-stay (for those staying minimum 6 months). The volunteers will get free French language lessons at school and also the opportunity to access first-aid training, and other professional trainings depending of his own school/professional project. Volunteers will also be loaned a computer and a wifi access to access all needed training resources.
Participant profile
We are looking for highly-motivated volunteers from EU countries ready to commit ideally for the rest of the school year (but applications for shorter periods will also be considered) and wishing to improve their French language skills. Being a team player (or wishing to become), being open-minded and dynamic is definitely a plus. And if you are interesting in music, sport or have any specific passion/skill, you’re more than welcome! Finally, if you are ready to engage in a enthusiastic project, if you are cheerful and talkative, our school is definitely the place to be! And if you feel different... Feel free to contact us!
