Description
This ESC project for individual volunteering will involve 4 local volunteers for a period of one month each, who will support and contribute to our activities, dedicated to efforts focused on two main areas of action: Activity 1: Promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among young people. Supporting social inclusion and diversity through youth initiatives. Developing skills for active citizenship in alignment with the EU Youth Goals. Activity 2: Enhancing digital literacy and engagement among young people for active participation in democratic processes. Encouraging the use of virtual platforms for inclusive youth participation in decision-making processes. Empowering young people through digital tools to achieve positive change and address the EU Youth Goals. Both activities are open to volunteers with fewer opportunities.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will be accomodated either in the village of Varbovo, Chuprene Municipality or in Sofia. Each volunteer will receive 210 euros per month as pocket money and 120 euros for food. BYF will also cover all costs for materials and transportation of the volunteers in case the activities are in a different location than the one where they permanently reside.
Formation pendant l’activité
All volunteers will undergo introductory training related to the topics of the volunteering activity. Additionally, they will participate in instructional training sessions. Throughout their volunteering period, they will receive mentoring and supervision, with regular reflection and feedback sessions organized to enhance their awareness of the learning process and the competencies they have gained.
Profil du participant
Age: 18–30 years old (30 years + 364 days at the start of the project). Language Skills: At least an intermediate level of English (B1/B2). Motivation: Strong motivation to participate in volunteering activities and contribute to the project’s objectives. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team within a multinational and multicultural environment. Responsibility: High level of responsibility towards tasks and commitments related to working with young people. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different situations and tasks. Digital Skills: At least an intermediate level of digital literacy for working with online platforms and tools.
