Description
Our organisation is based in the centre of Čadca, a small town with a population of about 24,000 inhabitants. Čadca is situated in the north of Slovakia, near the border with the Czech Republic and Poland. Creating an International Team in KERIC & Collaborating on Community Activities: As a volunteer, you will be part of an international team at KERIC, working together to create activities that benefit the local community. You'll foster cooperation, promote cross-cultural exchange, and contribute to meaningful projects. Your tasks will include: Supporting the organization in various activities Working on international projects Creating content for social media Coordinating activities in the youth center (e.g., language café, outdoor events) Collaborating with local volunteers Assisting with information campaigns
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
As a volunteer, you will spend your first week with a welcoming host family to settle in and experience the local culture. Afterward, you’ll move into a fully furnished shared apartment designed for community living, with two volunteers per room. The apartment includes a washing machine and dryer, and you’ll have access to shared café and seminar rooms. Financial support for food is provided, and the project covers travel costs for activities. The building is in a prime location near the train station, city center, and shopping malls.

1. Pre-departure Online Training 2. Leadership Training for Summer Camps: Training focused on developing leadership skills tailored for roles in summer camps. 3. On-arrival and Mid-term Training 4. Psychologic support during whole project
Profil du participant
The opportunity is available to any motivated youngsters aged 18 to 30. The hosting organization will organize information meetings for interested candidates. Those interested can apply based on transparent criteria and within the specified selection deadline.
