We are looking for volunteers for two youth centers: the Centro QR52 or Centro IRDA. The centers are for young people (10-20 years old) with different cultural and educational backgrounds. There they do afterschool activities and socialize with their peers and receive support. Tasks: - Help young people with their homework; - Support the workshops organized by the center on topics such as citizenship, music, art, etc. - Support the educators in organizing sports activities; - Develop new ideas to involve the local community; - Share your experience as a volunteer and disseminate European opportunities among young people; - Support the communication through social media and blog posts; - Give visibility to the activities by taking pictures and videos; - Accompany during field trips and holidays; - In summer participate in summer camps.
Alojamiento, manutención y transporte
You will share a simple flat in Milan, with DOUBLE rooms (you will share room with another person of the same gender), bathrooms, and an eat-in kitchen. You will receive pocket money of 6 euros per day. You will have 160€ for food per month. You will receive a monthly subscription to public transport to commute to the location of the activities. The travel time to the youth center from home might be up to 1-1,5 hour. The travel expenses will be refunded on the basis defined by the European Commission.
Formación durante la actividad
Volunteers will participate in the On Arrival Training organized by the Italian National Agency. Also, the coordinating organization will organize training for volunteers.

Has a great love to socialization, communication, can easily bond with young people and give them support. Ready to play sports and do workouts, in any weather conditions; willing to do arts and play games; willing to collaborate and work in a team. Patient and creative; communicative and open-minded; positive and proactive; adaptable; able to cooperate with educators; willing to plan, organise and manage activities. Motivated to learn and speak Italian and to communicate with locals. We expect your CV and Motivation to be in ENGLISH!
