Description
“Volunteering Summer Fest" brings together 16 young people from 18 to 30 years old for 1 month of volunteering in the rural context of Alta Langa, Piedmont, Italy. It includes 23 days of volunteering programme. The main tasks are: - Take care of green areas of the village and of the permaculture garden - Renovation works in the hostel and around the village - Practice cooking skills - Support in planning and realizing the “Outdoor Festival”
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will be provided with a place for cooking and will receive a weekly budget for the group in order to cook all together. This project is aimed to promote vegan/vegetarian approach. The accommodation is the Alveare Hostel, which offers communal dining area, comfortable shared bedrooms with 2/3/4 beds, a well-equipped kitchen and a terrace. The hostel has a laundry room and a public Wi-Fi network ("Wi-Fi for EU") is available.

- Your age is from 18 to 30 - You are resident in EU countries and neighbouring countries - You are facing challenging situations in your life - You are interested in getting to know and cooperate with other young volunteers from different countries - You want to live for 1 month in a rural environment in Italy, discover the local area and get to know its inhabitants - You want to improve your practical and manual skills, your group work competencies and your sense of initiative
