Description
Organizing cultural events to connect with neighbors from nearby villages. These could include open-air movie nights, board game evenings, cultural workshops, music jam sessions, and fun group activities. These events will bring people together, create a friendly atmosphere, and celebrate different traditions.You’ll also join us in the local organic market, meet the community, and experience local life. We care about sustainability in everything we do. From using local food to cutting down waste, you’ll help create eco-friendly events that inspire and teach others.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Regain is located at La Borie Noble, just 19 km from Lodeve and one hour from Montpellier. Apart from our organic bakery, we have a green garden, a sheep farm, horses and a natural swimming pool. You'll share daily life with community members, volunteers, and wwoofers. Accommodation offers private bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities. Three vegetarian meals are provided daily and a kitchenette is available for personal cooking preferences. Transportation includes a thrice-weekly bus service, a train reaching the coast in an hour, and access to a car (only for certain circumstances).
Formation pendant l’activité
Approximately 30 hours per week, supporting the bakery and helping to organize community-building cultural activities. Hands-on training and guidance will be provided in both baking techniques and event management, ensuring an enriching experience. The volunteers will also participate at two seminaries, organised by the National Agency.
Profil du participant
We seek 2 volunteers who are team players, enjoy rural life and are willing to take initiative. Basic English and a curiosity for exploring new cultures are indispensable. This opportunity is open to individuals aged 18 to 30 from the EU. It is important to care about the environment, while also respecting community norms and non violence values. A driver’s license is a must. If you love nature, manual work, and cultural exchange, we encourage you to join us in creating a positive atmosphere in the heart of the countryside.
