Les Galopins du Sancy invite you to a unique adventure, amidst sublime landscapes and varied equestrian activities. Learn ethical horsemanship, participate in hikes, and much more. At Les Galopins du Sancy, you will care for adorable animals, express your creativity by beautifying the equestrian center, and share your passion with visitors. You will participate in the education of horses and discover NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). More than a mission, it's a commitment to the environment, mental health, and the development of young people. Join a caring team, committed to the environment, and become an actor in a meaningful project. Here, the development of everyone, human and animal, is at the heart of our concerns.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteer will be housed in a private gîte room with a kitchenette area, and will have access to the kitchen, bathroom, and toilets. The volunteer will share midday meals with the site managers who live on-site year-round. The volunteer will be able to prepare their evening meals in the kitchenette. The association will provide an electric bicycle for the volunteer to move around freely. Buses are available to reach nearby towns (Super-Besse and Clermont-Ferrand), as the site is in the heart of a rural area.
Formation pendant l’activité
The volunteer will receive an arrival training session, and specific training on tasks related to animal care, safety and hygiene in the equestrian center, and communication tasks. The association will share tools for positive and friendly communication between humans and animals, particularly tools related to NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). The volunteer will receive language training through a weekly meeting with the association members, via the EU Academy's Online Linguistic Support platform, and through meetings and exchanges with local publics and associations.
Profil du participant
Available for the ENTIRE duration of the project: from April 3, 2025, to August 30, 2025. Great love for animals, horses, and the ability to approach them without fear. Ready to commit to animal care through gentle and caring techniques. Enthusiastic and open-minded person, preferably adhering to the organization's lifestyle (environmental practices...) or curious about its methods and willing to adapt to them during the mission. With basic language skills in French, and motivated to learn. The site is accessible to people with physical or sensory disabilities. We eagerly await your CV and motivation letter!
