EcoSummerCamp - Practical introduction into ecological farming and nature restoration
Permakulturpark am Lebensgarten Steyerberg (PaLS) gGmbH
Steyerberg, Allemagne
Description
In the beautifully situated permacultural park at Steyerberg, Germany, the participants will learn in a practical way about the future of ecological farming. By a combination of theory lessons and practical work in the market garden they will experience what it needs to produce very healthy organic vegetables and to help to restore depleted soils at the same time. They will work together with skilled permacultural gardeners and motivated long-term volunteers from different countries. There will be a lot of leisure activities and fun. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the residents of the ‘Lebensgarten’, one of the first ecovillages in Germany, and share their experiences of living in a community.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Participants spend the nights in comfortable tents surrounded by nature on the site of the permaculture park. Sleeping bags, sleeping mats and additional blankets will be provided by the organiser. Meals are provided and will be eaten together, with some of the food consisting of fresh organic vegetables from our own market garden. The journey to and from the site can be made by public transport (plane or train). There are continuous connections from the airport and the nearest railway station. The permacultural park is located directly at the terminus of a public bus line.
