The power of together

Street Art for Solidarity

AVENTURA MARAO CLUBE

AMARANTE, Portugal

Description

As a volunteer you'll collaborate with the ADESCO Cooperative team to implement a creative and socially impactful painting project. Your tasks will include contributing to all phases of the artistic process, from conceptual design and sketching to the final painting, under the guidance of project coordinators and experienced volunteers. Additionally, volunteers will organize interactive activities for the cooperative’s users, fostering engagement and inclusion, and promoting social solidarity by using art to bring joy to children, elderly individuals, and the broader community. As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to explore your creative talents, build connections, and contribute to ADESCO’s mission of empowering individuals with special needs and students in the Amarante region. Are you ready to unleash your creativity, make a meaningful impact, and have fun along the way? Let’s team up and create something truly inspiring together! ✨

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation is provided at the youth center, with free laundry. Participants will share rooms with other team members. The youth center is equipped with internet, workspaces, and a bar/restaurant. Meals (vegetarian with protein options) are provided Monday to Saturday at the center, with one non-vegetarian dinner per week. Volunteers receive €20 for Sunday meals (reimbursed with invoices).
