Description
The Lycée Vauvenargues (Aix-en-Provence) is looking for : 1 german or austrian volunteer for 9 months, between the 22nd of September 2025 and the 30th of june 2026 You will do your mission in the highschool based in the city center. It used to be a monastery so it looks a bit like Hogwarts. There are many pupils, a baskeball court, a climbing wall and even a small theater in an old church. You’ll be accomodated in a building inside the school campus, with other volunteers. Your mission can be to accompany classes on trips or to events. You can also help the german teachers during german lessons (do presentations, organise activities or workshops, help pupils with exam preparation, tutor pupils who want to learn more and who need it, propose individual conversation trainings). You can also help the teachers of the Euro classes (a specific class where pupils learn german doing sport). For this mission, you need to be interested in working with teenagers, language and sport!

Duration 9 months From september 2025 Working hours 30 hours per week From monday until friday Holidays must be taken during the school holidays Accomodation Flat inside the school 400 euros / month Meals can be taken at the cantine for lunch Budget for the travel (and visa if needed) Insurance (Henner) Zou card to travel in the region by train and bus with a 90% discount
