Cultural Center in Hall in Tirol | Austria KULTURLABOR STROMBOLI The Kulturlabor Stromboli is a cultural institution in Hall in Tirol, a small town in the heart of the Alps. The center was first established in 1989 with the aim of creating a venue for a needed cultural revival of the area. Nowadays it hosts over 120 events throughout the year, combining a wide variety of arts and styles, including concerts, cabarets, theatre plays, literature readings, open air events, discussion groups, exhibitions, parties and a weekly children´s program. The bar also brings a constant influx of people to Stromboli, keeping the centre alive almost every day of the week. Innovating and trying new ideas is the motto of the organisation, enabling endless possibilities and new cultural adventures. This year the Kulturlabor Stromboli is looking for a volunteer from another EU country to strengthen its team. Time period: From the 15th of September 2025 to the 15th of August 2026
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
We offer in Stromboli and our volunteer: Comfortable working environment in a small friendly team. Help with every day issues and questions. An small fully equipped appartment and also the possibility to join meals during the events. Transportcard for public transportation in Tyrol. Food money 7€ per day and pocketmoney. German course and many opportunities for practising German. Experience in many different areas of work. Opportunities for working alone or with a team on creative projects. Meet people and artist from all over austria and also the world.
Formation pendant l’activité
STROMBOLI together with CUBIC will provide activities for all volunteers about once a month (like a radio show, group meeting,..) These group events are part of the project and you should be prepared to participate in all these activities. Additionally trainings will be provided. Volunteer´s tasks: General office duties (reservations), Working with social media, Taking pictures and recording events, Helping with the organisation of the events, assisting in all areas of the bar, Helping with children´s workshops. Profil du participant
We would be happy to host a volunteer who: would like to work in a completely new but interesting environment, would like to meet new people from all over Europe, is interested in working within a cultural work environment, is interested in working with social media, is interested in working with various and different groups of people, has enthusiasm for learning and speaking English and German, has flexibility and strong organisational skills. has an ability to work under pressure is open-minded, friendly,enthusiastic, creative and communicative, wants to work in a team, wants to gain social, intercultural and communication skills, brings their own culture and interests into the project, is ready to volunteer for 11 months starting in September 2025.
