This August, we’re looking for 5 to 8 enthusiastic volunteers to join a hands-on green project at BioArt Village—a unique off-grid place nestled in the forest within the city of Eindhoven. Surrounded by nature, you’ll help shape the landscape and contribute to the development of inspiring outdoor projects that blend ecological design, land art, and sustainable living. This summer, we’ll be working together on the transformation of the site—restoring and preparing the land, shaping natural spaces, and experimenting with ways to collaborate with nature. One of the possible projects in the pipeline is the creation of a Willow Wall: a living structure grown from willow trees that merges human design with the rhythm of natural growth. This is just one example of the kind of living architecture we’re working toward. Update: the last potential candidates are being contacted. Alojamiento, manutención y transporte
The accommodation is at BioArt Village, a beautiful location surrounded by a forest inside the city of Eindhoven. The place is off-grid, fulfilling basic needs, and participants must approach this with a non-wasteful mindset. Common areas include the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. In addition to pocket money, you also receive food money, so basic cooking skills are necessary.
Formación durante la actividad
No specific experience is needed—just a love of the outdoors, a willingness to work physically outside, and an open mindset. You’ll gain practical experience in landscape work, learn about natural building principles, and contribute to a meaningful project that’s rooted in sustainability.
Perfil del participante
We’re especially looking for volunteers who are curious about working with nature, enjoy physical outdoor work, and can thrive in a team while also being self-reliant. Resilience, motivation, and a positive attitude are essential. We warmly welcome applicants with fewer opportunities, and we ask that all participants are in good mental and physical health, and can commit to the full duration of the stay.
