Description
The volunteer will support the after-school care program at a primary school, working with children aged 6 to 10. The tasks include helping with homework and organizing meaningful leisure activities. There is plenty of room to express creativity in this role. In addition to working at the school, the volunteer will also be active in the multigenerational center. Depending on their interests and arrangements with the staff, they can offer various activities such as cooking, language, or sports courses, and much more.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteer will live in a furnished apartment near the multigenerational care center. They will receive money for food and pocket money. A bicycle and a bus ticket for travel within the city will be provided by us.
Formation pendant l’activité
The volunteer will be offered a German language course if necessary. Educational training sessions, held twice during the project in different cities across Germany, are also part of the ESC program. These sessions provide both learning opportunities and the chance to connect with other volunteers from various parts of the country. Additionally, volunteers in the region will meet once a month. These meetings will be organized and supported by the coordinating organization.
Profil du participant
We are looking for a creative person who enjoys spending time with children and people of different ages, is open-minded and wants to try new things. It is also important that you are motivated to spend a year in a small town, as Goldbach is a small place but well connected to a nearby town, both by bike and by bus.
