Description
Project will take place in Krakow, Poland. We would like to host up to 14th volunteers from different European countries in our team volunteering project. Start dates are the 7th of July, 2025, and end on the 29th of July (when the first and the last days are the travel days!). Our project will take place in Kraków, where we would like to organise intercultural activities mostly for children and adults. Volunteers' tasks will be to prepare the activity plan, materials, and conduct those activities, as well as to summarize everything, do evaluation and prepare your Youthpass in the end. We will work up to 35 hours per week. And don't worry: there will also be time to get to know each other, to see the city and to learn about its past and presence, to have a good time with the rest of the team. Additionally, we will use the space of our social gardens.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
We will accommodate all volunteers in the flats that we rent for our long-term volunteers. They are located in different parts of Kraków. Flats have mostly double rooms, a common kitchen, and a bathroom. Volunteers will get pocket money and food allowance for 23 days of the activity.
Formation pendant l’activité
During recruitment, we will contact only selected candidates for the next step – an online meeting to discuss the project and get to know each other. Once the group is complete, we will hold two online meetings to prepare you for Kraków (to get participants to know each other and ask some questions before we meet in person in Kraków). The first days onsite will focus on integration, ESC rules, Youthpass, PSEA, Polish culture, and planning. We will also build the plan of the activities for the next 2 weeks and prepare materials. And then we will be testing our games with children!
Profil du participant
We are looking for young people between 18 and 30 years old from different European countries, because we would like to have a really diverse group. It will help us to create more intercultural activities and keep diversity. We are looking for open-minded and creative young people who would like to share their knowledge, experience, and time with others. You need to be available also for the whole time of the activity (3 weeks and 2 days). English on a communicative level would be good, as we need to communicate with each other and the participants in activities.
