Description
Join Act for Transformation’s Caucasus Office in the heart of Tbilisi! As a volunteer, you will actively support peace, democracy, and youth empowerment work in Georgia, a country rich in history, culture, and regional significance. Your engagement will include: - Supporting the organization of workshops and trainings on peacebuilding,conflict transformation, non-violent communication and democracy, under a methology we run called Fairtogether. - Supporting local youth and refugee communities. - Leading or assisting in the organisation of (English / German) language classes for refugees, children, etc. - Developing and implementing your own small-scale project ideas. - Participating in intercultural activities and dialogue sessions This opportunity is ideal for young people passionate about social justice, international cooperation, and hands-on peace work.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation, food, travel costs, insurance, and a monthly allowance are covered by us under the ESC programme.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will receive pre-departure, on-arrival, and mid-term training, plus regular mentoring support.
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated young people aged 18–30 who: - Are open-minded, responsible, and curious about other cultures - Have interest or experience in topics like peacebuilding, democracy, youth work, or intercultural learning - Basic English is helpful; knowledge of other languages is a plus - No prior experience required — just motivation and the passion to support social projects and activities. - Participants from all backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, are encouraged to apply.
