Jules Lesven high school is a general, technological and professional high school with 1400 pupils. Volunteer's activities: The 2 ESC volunteers will help the pedagogical team to organize/develop/lead projects and workshops, in the high school or outside. At the student common house, the volunteers will have to organize projects with pupils about environmental and citizenship awareness to give life to this space. At the Cafeteria, a pupil’s dedicated space, the volunteers will, with the pupils, sell food and drinks, spread a playlist, decorate it, etc. to give life to this space. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

The volunteer will be accommodated in a furnished studio flat in a youth accommodation centre, in Brest city centre. Food: 240 € per month Transports: we will give a monthly subscription for the bus network.

Formation pendant l’activité

- Pre-departure training (PDT): organised by his/her sending organisation or his/her ESC national agency - On-arrival training (OAT): organised by the French National Agency - Mid-term training (MTT): organised by the French National Agency - Final evaluation: organised by his/her sending organisation Besides, during his/her ESC the volunteer will get: a task-support mentor AND a personal mentor

Profil du participant

We are looking for 2 volunteers from European Union countries or from Georgia,, from 18' up to 30'. Basic skills in French are requested as well as basic IT competencies. In general, the pupils have a very bad level in English, that's why it's important to be able to communicate with them in French an to go out your comfort zone to create a link with them.
