Description
Project UNITED IN ACTION invites young people (18-30 years old) to Poland for a volunteer placement at WSB University. You can participate in programme for minimum 30 days. Our goal is to engage you in civic life through local cultural initiatives with students, young people, elderly people and persons with special needs, as well as through University-organised events. Volunteering takes place in the following areas: - Social Innovation HUB - Academic Career Office - Academic Library - School of Foreign Languages - Children’s Universities - Third Age Universities - Office for People with Special Needs - Science Development Department - International Relations Office (IRO) Activities include fostering social inclusion, supporting people with special needs and running pro-eco mobility campaigns, all delivered by organisations holding the European Quality Label. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
We provide suitable housing, a monthly public-transport pass, reimbursement of travel to Poland according to ESC rates, pocket money and food money. All details will be discussed at the recruitment meeting and closer to the start of the volunteering period. All info: https://unitedinaction.eu/en/
Formation pendant l’activité
You will have access to numerous trainings, including Design Thinking, Time Management, Cultural Differences in business and social life, How to release stress and regain balance, Career Guidance and Planning, environmental-protection workshops and many other development events and conferences. Profil du participant
Who are we looking for? Participants aged 18-30 who combine high motivation with openness to people and new environments. We seek ambitious, creative and curious individuals who enjoy teamwork in an international setting, are eager to learn through training, and are ready to engage in activities that promote sustainable development. We warmly encourage applications from young people with fewer opportunities (economic, health-related, geographic or cultural). In your motivation letter, please indicate the length of service you choose. Each shortlisted applicant will be invited to an interview with the Project Coordinator to discuss further details and answer any questions.
