Join the Breil Social and Cultural Center, a welcoming and vibrant space rooted in inclusion, solidarity, and community engagement. As a volunteer, you'll contribute to promoting the center’s activities through posters, social media, and community outreach. You’ll support the team in organizing and running activities for children, youth, and families, and help lead workshops focused on food, parenting, and intercultural exchange. You’ll also be encouraged to develop new projects for families in collaboration with staff and create your own personal initiative in line with the values of the center. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The future volunteer will be provided with a shared room (or not, depending on the recruitment) in a house, alongside other volunteers.. The house is conveniently located near a supermarket and a bus line, allowing quick access to the city center. As explained in the info kit, the volunteer will receive €8 per day as pocket money and €7 per day for food. Bycicle and car for public transport is provided.
Formation pendant l’activité
The volunteer will also take part in an integration week organized by the Maison de l’Europe in Nantes, as well as two weeks of training organized by the National Agency (Erasmus+) covering intercultural communication, non-formal education, and European topics. French classes the first two month will also be provided.
Profil du participant
We are looking for someone eager to work with diverse audiences, open to encountering different life realities—and curious to understand them. Someone motivated to propose activities that stimulate participants and animate the neighborhood. A person who’s enthusiastic about learning from others and brings an open mind. Someone smiling and caring, ready to engage with people aged 0 to 100 years!
