Live the Transition

Bellidée

SAINT-MARTIN-BOULOGNE, France

Description

In connection with the European project coordinator, the territorial coordinator of a FEDER-funded project on ecological and social transitions, and the teams of several local social centers, the volunteer will take part in a collective initiative addressing key challenges such as sustainable mobility, responsible consumption, recycling, digital inclusion, and energy transition. Through workshops, events and daily interactions with local residents, the volunteer will be encouraged to share ideas and practices from their own country, co-create solutions with the community, and contribute to raising awareness on these issues. They will also participate in coordination meetings with other centers, promote European mobility opportunities among local youth, and take part in intercultural activities to share their culture and experience.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

The volunteer will be selected for this mission. He/she will share a two-bedroom apartment. It is located in the town center of Saint-Martin-Boulogne near shops and public transports. The volunteers will receive an allowance of 400€ for food, and pocket money. Bellidée will provide a bus card (for transport in the Communauté d'Agglomération du Boulonnais) and a train card (for transport in the Hauts-de-France region). They will also have free access to all the services of Bellidée (sports, cultural events, etc.).

Formation pendant l’activité

The volunteer will have to assist to the two training sessions organized by the French National Agency. She/He will also be able to participate to trainings organized by the Bellidée. The volunteer will have access to the EU Academy platform and will have courses with a volunteer to help her/him to learn French.

The volunteer should be open-minded, proactive, and eager to share ideas and practices from their own culture, while co-creating solutions with others.
