Description

As part of this project, volunteers will be actively involved in delivering a wide range of non-formal educational programs for children and young people in placement centers, primary schools, and kindergartens within disadvantaged areas of Resita. These activities are designed to develop essential skills, foster creativity, and enhance competencies, all while promoting greater participation, tolerance, and acceptance. During the summer, volunteers will also take on the role of coordinating and working alongside short-term volunteers.

Volunteers will be accommodated in a rented apartment featuring double bedrooms. The apartment is equipped with all essential amenities, including kitchen appliances and WiFi, ensuring a comfortable living environment. The hosting NGO will cover the cost of rent and utilities (water, gas, electricity, and internet). Additionally, local transportation passes will be provided by the hosting NGO. Financial Support: Pocket Money: €4 per day Food Allowance: €150 per month

Training during the activity

During the project, volunteers will participate in an on-arrival training as well as a mid-term evaluation, both organised by the Romanian National Agency, for one week each.
