Mandarine Land 2025 Become part of something warm, creative and life‑changing this winter in Latvia! Mandarine Land 2025 invites young volunteers (18–25 y.o.) from Latvia and across Europe to join us for 35 days of meaningful teamwork. With Mandarīnu Zeme’s long tradition (since 2013) in organizing integrative events for children from orphanages, refugee families and socially vulnerable backgrounds, this project gives you a chance to co‑create, animate and deliver magical events in December that unite communities and spread joy. You’ll help design interactive performances, creative games, workshops, fairy-tale journeys, logistics and safety planning. You will also build relationships with local organizations, communicate with families and children, and immerse yourself in intercultural teamwork. You will: contribute directly to inclusive holiday events for children aged ~4–14 years old; gain hands-on experience in planning social, creative and integrative projects;
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Accommodation for volunteers from abroad and for local volunteers is provided by hosting organization in our Volunteer house with shared rooms and facilities. Food money and pocket money are granted by ESC Travel cost get reimbursed according to distance calculator
Formation pendant l’activité
Volunteers will take part in daily team meetings, where we plan, share tasks and reflect together. You will receive basic training in working with children, safety and safeguarding, creative event planning, and communication with partners. We will also have workshops about inclusion, teamwork, and how to use your personal skills in the project. Mentor and coordinator will support you during all the project, and at the end you’ll receive Youthpass certificate to recognize your learning and competences.
Profil du participant
We are looking for young people aged 18–25 who are open, kind, and ready to work in a team and with the kids. You don’t need professional experience — just motivation to help, learn, and bring positive energy! This project is perfect for those who love working with children, enjoy creative tasks, or want to be part of something meaningful. We welcome especially those who: want to make a social impact, have fewer opportunities or come from challenging backgrounds, are curious to learn about other cultures, like teamwork, crafts, performances, storytelling or event planning. No perfect English needed — just the will to communicate and participate. Everyone will be supported.
