Description
LOF DIGITAL RESIDENCE is a programme for digitalising rural areas, focused on a rural municipality. Young people will receive training before undertaking different practical work in this place: 3D, cutting laser, VR, sound, drone, graphic design,... Each group of young people will be able to work on a digital project. Objective 1: Improve the digital skills of young people so that they can develop their projects and ideas in rural areas. Objective 2: To develop participants' sense of initiative through prototyping solutions and entrepreneurship for challenges faced by rural youth; create opportunities to meet and collaborate with each other and with young people from other rural areas. Objective 3: Improve the digital skills of young people so that they can develop their projects and ideas in rural areas and at the same time have a global connection. Objective 4: Create a digital project for the development of a very specific area of the province of Lugo.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Accommodation arrangements: included in the project at the Lug2 Hostel in a shared room Food: included in the project, we have special menus. Transportation: included from origin to Lugo and return (public transport), and on all days of the project.
Formation pendant l’activité
Every day the group of young people will have in-person or online training. Before arriving in Lugo, they must have a team meeting with the online project mentor. Fluent English is essential. Some Spanish is a plus for communicating with people in rural areas.
Profil du participant
Preferably: Youth between 20 and 30 years old. Responsible and committed. Respectful and keen to discover different cultures. Eager to share their personal experience. Eager to develop new skills and challenge themselves. Able to communicate in English. Showing interest and motivation in learning and create a positive impact in their rural community. Have some control over some technology subject.
