Description
Creation of clubs and activities during the break time (13h - 14h) or during study hours, for example : games, arts and crafts. Proposition of a common project with all the school employees. Work alongside the teacher responsable for the class UP2EA to include the new allophone students and their families into the school environment. Create a partnership with the local university , IUT Bourges.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
In order to eliminate isolation, we plan to arrange accommodation with a family or shared housing in or around Bourges. This will allow the volunteer to integrate more easily . The volunteer can eat the midday meal at the school except for Wednesdays. All other meals will be eaten in their accommodation. The school can provide a bicycle for the volunteer’s use on a permanent basis, and a vehicle on occasion, provided the volunteer holds a driving licence valid in France. There are regular trains and buses (free) in Bourges.
Training during the activity
The volunteer will have weekly meetings with Véronique ARTAUD to evaluate and monitor their progress. (Wheter this is your first step into the field of Education or a way to gain further experience, this opportunity offers valuable guidance and profesionnal development)
