Description
Hostel Monte Barro (part of Legambiente Lecco) is looking for one FEMALE volunteer passionate about nature, sustainability, and education. The volunteer will be fully involved in the daily life of the hostel and the environmental education. Activities include: supporting eco-sustainable tourist paths for visitors, helping to prepare and deliver educational workshops, and designing your own art or creative recycling. You will also contribute to hostel tasks such as guest check-in and room preparation, support summer camps with logistics and eco-activities, and assist with communication and social media. The hostel is located in a beautiful, far from towns area—perfect for someone who wants to live close to nature and escape city life. This project is ideal for a creative, flexible, and motivated person who enjoys working with people, ready to live in a remote area, and wants to gain experience in non-formal education in Monte Barro Park in Italy. 💚
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The travel expenses (home - Italy - home) will be reimbursed depending on a distance defined by the European Commission. Accommodation and VEGETARIAN food are provided by the host organization. The volunteer will also receive pocket money (6€ per day).
Formation pendant l’activité
Associazione No Borders will be your COORDINATING organization, leading you through the volunteering and answering practical questions. Volunteer will participate in trainings.
Profil du participant
We’re looking for motivated FEMALE volunteer aged 18–30, available from October 2025 to May 2026. ✅Comfortable living in an isolated, far from the city, natural environment ✅Interested in environmental education and sustainability ✅Flexible, able to manage varied tasks ✅Enjoys meeting people and engaging with park visitors ✅Willing to share space and meals with a small team ✅Open-minded, peaceful, and respectful ✅Fine with a vegetarian/vegan diet ✅Intermediate English and eager to learn Italian
