Descripción
The “Green Hands Burgos 6” project aims to be the continuation of the “Green Hands Burgos” project, hosting two volunteers in Ábrego Association and two volunteers in Huerteco Association. The main objective of “Green Hands Burgos” is to promote environmental education as well as to encourage rural development, through the activities that will be developed in the different organisations and through the activities focused on sustainable development and environmental protection issues. In particular, in the Huerteco Association, the volunteers will participate in the activities in direct contact with nature, in the ecological garden and will collaborate in training, educational and dissemination activities. Huerteco is an association focused on environmental education, horticultural therapy and food sovereignty. The association believes in the importance of a sustainable lifestyle.
Alojamiento, manutención y transporte
Asociación Brújula Intercultural (project coordinator), will provide a flat in Burgos (center) for all the volunteers. They will have a single room. The coordinator will also provide an amount (established from the ESC program) for the maintenance and pocket money that will be provided monthly. The travel expenses will be refunded on the basis defined by the European Commission.
Formación durante la actividad
The volunteers will participate in the on-arrival and mid-term training organised by the Spanish National Agency. The support organisation and the host organisation will provide them also a training when they will arrive and a mid-term and a final evaluation.
Perfil del participante
-Available for the whole duration of the project; -18-30 years old; -Resident in EU member countries or Ukraine; -With at least a basic knowledge of Spanish; ; -A driving license is welcome but not necessary; -Motivation to participate in the project and specific activities; -Interest in the activities planned within the host organisation; -Flexibility, patience, open-mindedness, team-work; -Interest and willingness to face the intercultural experience proposed by the project and its challenges.
