Your Own Ticket to Art: let's join our creative art station in the oldest forest in Europe!

Stowarzyszenie Kulturalne "Pocztówka"

Hajnówka, Pologne

Description

We are transforming an old railway station into an active cultural centre and we are looking for 3 motivated volunteers ready to gain real, hands-on experience, not just observe from the side. Your main task will be the development of the project “Eco Transport Rickshaw”: preparing a realistic implementation plan, supporting promotion, and testing sustainable transport solutions connecting the station with the town. You will also: – prepare and deliver cultural presentations about your home country, – work with our theatre and festival archive (documents, photos, materials), – help revive our social media with meaningful content (process, people, backstage). This is not a holiday programme. It’s a learning process based on responsibility, teamwork and everyday work in an NGO and cultural organisation. We offer guidance, space to learn and make mistakes - and the chance to understand how cultural projects really work. We are open for your ideas, activities.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

Quiet life in a small town, in close contact with nature — that’s our reality. Here, the forest starts just outside the town. A long walk or a short bike ride takes you straight into the woods. This is not a big, vibrant city. What you get instead is space, calm, fresh air and time to focus — on work, learning and everyday life in a cultural organisation We cover insurance, accommodation, local transport and food, and you will receive pocket money, according to programme rules. You don’t pay for participation — but you are expected to be expected to be engaged, responsible and curious.

Formation pendant l’activité

This will not be a school — but in practice, you will gain new, useful experience through everyday work and hands-on activities. Planned learning includes Polish language classes, practical workshops such as “Safety is OK!”, “Eco is Trendy”, social media management, and creating and repairing theatre props. You learn by doing, observing, testing and improving — step by step, in real situations. No exams, no grades. Just real skills, real tasks and real responsibility.

Profil du participant

Are you 18–30, an EU citizen or legally residing in the EU? 🌍 We’re looking for open, smiling, and creative souls ready to share an extraordinary adventure. We are open for: social media lovers, photo & video creators, people who enjoy working with documents and archives, and those who want to develop creative eco-projects. We also welcome the curious, the brave, and those who simply want to try something new. We don’t expect extensive experience — but we do expect honesty, reliability, and a real willingness to work and learn.
