Info Jeunes Grand Est is a youth information centre that informs young people about a variety of topics such as their studies, accommodation, and jobs. For 20 years, it has also served as the host organization for the EUROPE DIRECT Centre, helping bring the European Union closer to citizens and encouraging their participation in discussions about the EU's future. During their European Solidarity Corps (ESC) experience, the volunteer will participate in the activities of EUROPE DIRECT Reims: - Take part in the "European Ambassadors Campaign" to share their culture and experiences, raising awareness among secondary school students about European diversity. - Participate in and help organize events to promote the EU and European citizenship activities (Escape Games, "Europe for Beginners", etc...), events focused on International mobility, etc... - Help with the communication (creating visuals and videos, manage social media content, write articles and newsletter for the website...)
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The volunteer will live in a shared apartment fully furnished and will have his/her own bedroom. The bathroom, kitchen and living room will be shared. The volunteer will receive money for food, local transport and pocket money.
Profil du participant
The volunteer should have an interest in the European Union and its values. He/she should enjoy interacting with pupils and be keen on using communication tools such as social media, videos, and photos. Ability to work in a team is essential. A basic level of French (B1/B2) would be appreciated and will help the volunteer integrate more easily.
