Corps européen de solidarité

Plus forts ensemble

Let's fight social isolation thanks to intergenerational links! (Orléans)

les petits frères des Pauvres

Petits Frères des Pauvres (région Ile-de-France)

Orléans, France

Description

Like hundreds of young people before you, who had a fantastic experience with our elderly, join our association to be part of this beautiful solidarity chain! Your main goal will be to brighten the lives of lonely elderly individuals. How? By leading workshops to raise awareness about combating ageism in schools, visiting the elderly, forming friendships, engaging in intergenerationnal projects, introducing them to digital tools, proposing new social activities... You’ll be part of a diverse team of French volunteers. Join us and make a meaningful impact! We want to allow 1 young European to have a memorable and exciting experience of volunteering within a well-known organization where staff and volunteers work alongside! In France, we are already a solidarity chain of 15 000 volunteers and 600 staff! But the challenge is huge: in France, 1 older adult out of 4 is isolated… Let’s create a world where no elderly person feels alone! We look forward to welcoming you!
