Description
The Actors Space offers a volunteering experience shaped by nature, community, and creativity. The centre is located in a quiet, secluded area surrounded by fields and woodland, far from city noise- in Fontarnau, remote mountain historic house, close to the city of Vic. Volunteers take part in ecological and landcare activities: organic gardening, permaculture projects, tree planting, water management, and animal care. The environment encourages focus, cooperation, and a slower rhythm of living. At certain moments, volunteers join small creative sessions or open-air events where artistic expression connects with the landscape. They will also prepare a final show for the finish of their volunteering activity. The project suits people who enjoy open spaces, calm surroundings, and outdoor work across different seasons. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers live together in a secluded countryside house, each with a private bedroom. Cooking and household routines are shared, with fresh produce from the garden available in season. Bicycles can be used locally, and the group drives together for shopping. Having a personal car is a significant advantage given the remote setting. https://shorturl.at/7NLkV
Formation pendant l’activité
Training is continuous and includes permaculture, soil and plant care, agroforestry, and sustainable water systems, guided by experienced practitioners. Volunteers also take part in simple creative exercises and theatre-based sessions offered by the team, depending on the rhythm of community life. https://shorturl.at/7NLkV
