Description
We’re looking for nature-loving volunteers to join our scout campsite team this spring and summer. Your help will keep our place thriving—tasks include moving boats, sorting and refreshing the storage, light maintenance, planting trees, and preparing the campsite for busy months ahead. The highlight of the season: three brand-new Lelievlet boats that will need sanding, painting, and full preparation before they hit the water. With them, we’re planning an unforgettable 12-day water hike across Lithuanian rivers. Volunteers will also take part in running several summer camps and helping to organise an international youth exchange. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
Volunteers will live in a shared apartment in Ukmerge town and will have access to a car for commuting to the campsite.
Formation pendant l’activité
Volunteers will take part in On arrival and Mid term trainings organised by the National Agency. Also will have all the training needed for day to day tasks.
Profil du participant
We’re looking for motivated, outdoors-loving volunteers who enjoy practical work and being part of a team. No prior scouting experience is required — just a willingness to learn and help. Ideal participants are: Physically active and comfortable with hands-on tasks like lifting, organizing, or light maintenance. Open to outdoor environments in all seasons, including campsites, riversides, and forest trails. Team-oriented, responsible, and positive in group settings. Curious and eager to learn, especially about boating, campsite upkeep, and Scout traditions. Willing to participate regularly in weekly activities and occasional weekend hikes or events. Comfortable with simple communication tasks, such as sharing updates or photos for social media. People who enjoy adventure, nature, and meaningful contributions to youth programs will thrive in this role.
