Description

With the support of a team of volunteers and staff, in a process of gradual responsibility, the volunteer will carry out various activities in the School Sector of CEMEA NPDC. These include: managing communication about our national and international projects through our available channels (Facebook page, Instagram profile, etc.); take part in designing visual and teaching resources on Canva; contributing to communication for events and activities at CEMÉA (social media posts and articles for the CEMÉA NPDC website); and participating in educational, pedagogical, and civic actions carried out in schools, middle schools, and high schools. Depending on the volunteer’s knowledge and learning goals, involvement may include projects on ecological transition education (Erasmus KA2), arts education (FIFE), and intercultural initiatives (OFAJ). The 3 main areas of your mission/tasks: Content Creation, Social Media Management and Promotional Activities.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

-The European volunteer will be accommodated in Lille (flat or youth residence); -He/She will have access to the internet and free public transports. -He/She will have a bank account opened in their name. -He/She will receive a monthly allowance for food in the form of a grant, along with pocket money.

Training during the activity

Depending on their commitment and needs, training related to socio-cultural animation will be offered to strengthen their skills and refine their professional project. - First Aid Training Level 1 (PSC1); -Introduction to language and intercultural animation; -Training for mobility preparation workshops (individual or group); -Training in intercultural animation.

Participant profile

The hosted volunteers should have the ability to help select, create, and organize relevant visual and written content; have an interest or some basic experience in managing social media accounts and supporting content planning; possess good writing and verbal communication skills, with a sense of welcoming and openness to others; have basic proficiency with digital tools (Canva or similar); and be able to manage tasks efficiently while working collaboratively within a team. Motivation, dynamism, strong interpersonal and hospitality skills, openness to others, proficiency with digital tools, and a good command of English (knowledge of French, Spanish or another language would be an asset).
