Description
The Assotiation IMORA is a small community of small scale farming and natural living on the countryside of Spain. This is a call for long term Individual Volunteering project, we are looking for 2 volunteers from EU who are interested in permaculture, simple low standart and sustainable lifestyle, environment and its preservation. Project duration: 8 month, start date ASAP. Project activities include: - Organic garden and food forest maintenance in accordance with permaculture principles - Maintenance of an olive grove - Homemade food crafts - Care of farm animals - Recycling activities, - Construction activities., - Other environmental activities. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
The association IMORA will provide accommodation for the volunteers in independent room in rural hostel, which can be shared. The bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, is fully furnished and has everything needed to ensure an adequate accommodation (towels, blankets, etc.).There is a shared kitchen with all necesarry utensils, an Internet connection, with WiFi access in the main building. There is no need for local transport during the project, activities are develloped in the same place.
Formation pendant l’activité
The host entity offers necessary preparation for the performance of all tasks to prevent risks that the activities may cause. As the team of the association is international, the period of adaptation in intercultural environment is facilitated by offering linguistic support through language workshops. Monitoring and preparation of volunteers by tutors or responsible for the activities will be offered. Volunteers recieve formation in arrival meeting and Intermidiate evaluation organized by National Agency.
Profil du participant
Between 18 and 30 years old. Two to three volunteers who are interested and willing to participate in carrying out different activities in the rural environment. People with motivation and initiative, regardless of the experience, gender or socio-economic situation of the person, with the eagerness to learn, and giving them a space not only to develop the current agroecological projects, but also to create their own microprojects. It is essential for the volunteer to have a passion for nature and interest in low standart, sustainable lifestyle.
