Description
Volunteer will have a chance to try working with children and youth through the leisure activities. The main task for volunteers will be to participate at activities and help the activity leaders with it. For example, our specific sport activity which we offer here is a softball. It is well-known sport in the world. We have a lot of other activities, that vounteer will be involved in. We organize a lot of events, competition and curses for children, youth and adult, so we would like to involved and show volunteers how it goes. Because most of the activities happen in the afternoon. The morning is reserved for administration and organization work. In the afternoon volunteers will be attending the leisure time activities.Volunteers will help with daily basis in the organization such as promotion activities - creating posters, post on Instagrams, taking the photos from the activities and videos or helping with renovation around the building (easy garden work).
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
We can provide accommodation close to the organization or we can contribute to housing. We can provide lunch to the volunteers in our canteen, which is 5 min by walk far from the building. If they want to cook for themselves. In Ceske Budejovice infrastructure is really good and simple. The city is not so large, so it is very simple to understand the public transport. The city offer besides public transport also bike sharing. Due to our activities which are out of the city we would prefer someone with driving licence B.
Formation pendant l’activité
We will offer volunteers other EU online courses or seminar within NA events; in which they can participate during the period. Those seminars and courses can help them in their learning processes. For example, NA organize special sessions for international volunteers (On-arrival and Mid-term session). Also they can use their developed skills in filing the Youthpass, which we will offer them (they will gain digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competences, the foreign language, communication in the mother tongue). Learning languages is possible (English, Czech).
Profil du participant
We would like to find someone who is interested in youth work. It is not necessary to have experience with that. Most of the time volunteers with be working in team (with other people). Volunteers should be open-minded, sociable, communicative, creative, active and would want to learn new things.We are looking for creative (arts&crafts) person or someone who likes music, singing, playing musical instruments etc.., but it is not neccessary. We already host one volunteer and we are looking for the second one. Due to time pressure we need someone from NON-VISA country.
